Upgrades Coming to OhioLINK and SearchOhio

OhioLINK libraries are moving to a new catalog system and SearchOhio libraries chose to adjust to the same sharing platform to ensure we can continue to provide patrons access to OhioLINK resources.  This upgrade allows SearchOhio libraries (including Stark Library) an opportunity to replace their current, aging platform to improve overall user experience. 

This new platform will be installed at no cost to Stark Library.

All member libraries need time to clear outstanding transactions within the current system before the upgrade to the new system can take place. Also, OhioLINK libraries are upgrading to an entirely new catalog system, so their process will take longer.

No, we will not be able to offer renewal for any OhioLINK and/or Search Ohio items during the transition and ask that you return all items to Stark Library by their due date. NOTE: Replacement charges for unreturned items will still apply. 

Yes, all requests received before the cut-off date will be processed and sent - even if that processing happens after the cut-off date.

Yes, you will still be able to check out items from the hold shelf, and/or items that arrive at Stark Library after the cut-off date.
