Wireless internet access is available at all Stark Library locations. Look for the “Public Library” network on your device. No library card required.
Spanish Language Items in print in the library, and electronically in and outside of the building:
- books (adult, children, teen, graphic novels),
- magazines,
- movies, and CDs.
Many library electronic resources have Spanish language options (all are free!):
- hoopla—e-books, audiobooks, music, movies accessible by phone, tablet, computer
- Libby—e-books and audiobooks accessible by phone, tablet, Kindle, computer
- Flipster—online access to magazines
- Kanopy—streaming movies, documentaries, television shows, and educational videos
- LinkedIn Learning—take basic online courses in Excel, Microsoft 365, personal and career development (enhance productivity and creativity)
- Mango—online language learning course
- Other Foreign Language Resources
Quiet Study areas and meeting rooms—for individuals and small groups
WiFi Hotspots and Internet2Go kits— for internet access outside the library building
Play areas — for children with toys and educational games
Storytimes— for children in different age groups
What do you need to access all of this? A Stark Library Card
We have Stark Library card applications in Spanish!
- All that is required is a valid photo ID—The library does not keep copies of personal documents and patron account information is not shared with anyone or anything outside the library
- Children can also get a card with parental consent
- Library cards do not require citizenship
