Library Card FAQs

  • General Questions

    1. Visit any of our Library locations and complete the application process with a staff member.
    2. Apply online for an eCard.

    • If you are 18 or older, you must provide a valid photo ID, which includes (but is not limited to): driver’s license, State ID, student ID.
    • If you are 17 or younger, a parent or guardian must sign the Library card application parental consent form (parent does not need to be present at time when card is issued; no ID is required).

    • Physical Library cards must be renewed every three years.
    • eCards must be renewed every year.

    • Physical Library cards have full borrowing privileges (both physical items from the location, and online access, downloads, and streaming through our FREE Library apps)
    • eCards have access to the Library’s digital and online resources, including:
      • Library databases & online resources
      • Streaming and downloadable eBooks and eMaterials
      • Use the Library app
      • You cannot check out physical materials with an eCard.
