Library Card FAQs

General Questions
- If you are 18 or older, you must provide a valid photo ID, which includes (but is not limited to): driver’s license, State ID, student ID.
- If you are 17 or younger, a parent or guardian must sign the Library card application parental consent form (parent does not need to be present at time when card is issued; no ID is required).
- Physical Library cards must be renewed every three years.
- eCards must be renewed every year.
- Physical Library cards have full borrowing privileges (both physical items from the location, and online access, downloads, and streaming through our FREE Library apps)
- eCards have access to the Library’s digital and online resources, including:
- Library databases & online resources
- Streaming and downloadable eBooks and eMaterials
- Use the Library app
- You cannot check out physical materials with an eCard.
