Using the Ohio eBook Project Logging On

The Ohio e-book Project (OEP) is hosted to the library through Overdrive which lets you browse, checkout, and download e-books, audio books, music, and videos to your computer or supported mobile device.

Using the Ohio eBook Project:
1. Logging on
Click the "Sign In" link at the top of the homepage.

2. Select your library system from the drop down box.
Select a Library

3. The next screen will automatically appear. Enter your full library card number and click "sign in." You will then be taken to your digital account. Input your library card barcode number and click Sign In. Input library Barcode
4. Now you may search for Item or check your My Digital Cart
5. For search for an item: Once item is located.
6. Add to Cart
7. Proceed to Checkout
8. Confirm check out
9. Download
10. Click Open
11. Allow download of document to your Digital Editions for PDF and EPUB
12. Allow download of audio file to your OverDrive Media Console for MP3 by clicking OK and follow the prompts

To transfer PDF or EPUB items to a reader:
Connect the e-reader to your computer. Adobe Digital Editions or the Reader's Library will launch when reader is connected. Digital Editions automatically detects the presence of your reader. Adobe Digital Editions must be downloaded and certain readers must be authorized to be able to transfer protected content to and from the reader. Check your owner's manual for further information regarding authorization.
The e-reader appears as a new bookshelf in your library. You can transfer items to and from the reader bookshelf just as you do with other bookshelves in your library.
Once your title has been loaded to your Adobe Digital Library, left click, hold, and drag and drop the item to your reader.

To transfer MP3 items to a reader:
Connect the reader to your computer. The OverDrive Media Console will automatically detect the presence of your reader.
Select the Transfer option on the OverDrive Media Console toolbar.
Follow the OverDrive Media Console Transfer Wizard for the transfer of your MP3 e-book
When transfer is complete click on Finish and disconnect your reader
