CONTEST RULES

One to three winners will be chosen per month.

Story length must be between 200 and 1200 words.

Students in grades 6-12 may submit one short story per month.  You may resubmit a story the next month if it does not win.

Entries may only be submitted online.

Short Stories only, no poetry will be accepted

Your story can be real or fiction; a tragic romance, a comedy of errors, a sci-fi adventure, or a dramatic personal story.  Any subject or genre is acceptable.  No offensive or inappropriate language will be accepted.

Prizes:  Winning short stories will be posted online for a whole month.  They will also be available in the archive after the month is up.

The submission deadline is the last day of each month.  Winning stories will be posted the following week.  Contest will be judged by Main Library TAB members.
