Legal Forms

The resources listed here are not intended to constitute legal advice, nor an endorsement by the Stark County District Library that the information found in this tutorial is authoritative, accurate, or factual. If you need legal advice, please consult an attorney or contact the local Legal Aid Services, 306 Market Ave. North, Canton, 330.456.8361. Browsing the Ohio Legal Services website at http://www.ohiolegalservices.org may also be helpful.

By law, librarians are not permitted to choose or suggest what forms you should use. However, if the sources below do not contain the form you need, please come to the library, or call (330) 458-2754, or email the staff at Ask a Reference Librarian and a professional librarian will gladly assist you within the confines of the law.

The library has many books that contain legal forms. Below is a list of some of the books available at the Main Library to aid in your search for legal forms. Circulating books may be reserved through the library's online catalog.  Most circulating books may be checked out for two weeks. The  reference books can not be checked out of the library. However, you are welcome to make photocopies of the material that interests you. Another option is to visit the SCDL's Main Library's Reference Department in downtown Canton to browse two notebooks of legal forms and make photocopies of the forms you need.
