2004 SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED

Four scholarships have been awarded to SCDL staff members pursuing Library Science degrees. This year’s awards went to Julie Hoffman, Renee Sheridan, Kathryn Cancelliere, and Jacquelyn Szakars.

Scholarship Chairman C. C. Childs said money for the awards represented interest earned on FOL’s Scholarship Fund. The Fund grows larger with each Life Membership and other designated donations, but the current level of interest rates is a real handicap, she reported.
