Educator Cards

Educator cards are available to schoolteachers and aides, home educators, and LRC technicians, to be used in the school setting and/or other learning environments.

Teacher Units

A Teacher Unit is a collection of books or library material on a certain subject or multiple copies of a specific title (Lit Kits).  Teacher Units should be requested from the library agency where you will pick them up.  Lit Kits should be booked through the agency that the kit belongs to.

Library Tours and Classroom Visits

Bring your class or group to the library for a tour.  Computers and books on the study subject may be reserved. Booktalks and storytimes may also be requested.   Can't make it to us?  Librarians can visit your class or group.  Tours and school visits should be booked through your nearest SCDL location.  For more information select your nearest library location.

Early Childhood Resource Center

The Early Childhood Resource Center (ECRC), in a unique collaboration with the Stark County District Library, houses a specialized early childhood library.  There is a wonderful selection of fiction and non-fiction picture books, board books, big books, books-on-tape and music CD's as well as parent/teacher resource books.  You simply use your Stark County District Library card to check out materials.
