How To Do It Information Index website is a guide to locating magazine articles that contain how-to information, instructions, plans, suggestions and tips on how to solve and prevent problems, construct projects, pursue an art, craft, hobby, etc. The How To Do It Information Index uses a controlled list of more than 6,000 subject headings. The user is assisted in locating the correct subject heading by means of more than 12,000 cross references and a corresponding number of tracings. A listing of magazine titles and issues that have been cited in the index is included. The How to Do It Information Index is an external Internet source, not associated with Stark County District Library. Middle and Junior High Core Collection is a guide to fiction and nonfiction books for students in grades 5 through 9. The nonfiction title list emphasizes works on technology, personal values, and current social and political issues, especially ethnic diversity.
